Recruiting Coordinator Overview

  • The Recruiting Coordinator supports the recruiting function within a professional services firm, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization, providing guidance and leadership in recruitment best practices.
  • Coordinate campus, virtual, and Ph.D. recruiting activities, managing logistics and scheduling for interviews.
  • Screen potential candidates, extend verbal offers, and draft offer letters using templates.
  • Post and manage job descriptions on job boards and educational institutions.
  • Track candidate statuses within the Workday applicant system and compile interview feedback.
  • Represent the organization at campus events and maintain recruiting analysis and metrics.
  • Work in a hybrid model with opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.

Recruiting Coordinator Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person interviews, ensuring seamless scheduling and communication.
  • Manage candidate materials, create files, and process expense reports and invoices.
  • Draft offer letters and supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics, providing insights to improve processes.
  • Represent the organization at recruiting events, fostering relationships with educational institutions.
  • Maintain the recruiting email inbox, responding to inquiries and managing correspondence.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on recruiting strategies and goals.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the applicant tracking system for accurate record-keeping.

Recruiting Coordinator Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field from a recognized institution.
  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting or human resources within professional services or consulting firms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ATS/HRIS systems; familiarity with Workday and Handshake preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, with occasional travel between office locations.
