Project Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously, overseeing all phases from inception to completion.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
• Coordinate internal teams, subconsultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment and success.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and staffing plans, addressing issues proactively.
• Engage in quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet high standards across all project phases.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
• Mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
• Navigate building codes, zoning regulations, and agency approvals in collaboration with team members.

Project Manager Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) or Master of Architecture degree is required.
• Licensed Architect with active registration in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including 2 years in project management.
• Experience managing projects in healthcare and other diverse sectors is essential.
• Proficiency in project management software, such as Advantage or Ajera.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Understanding of architectural financial fundamentals and contract terms.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
