Front Desk Supervisor Overview

  • The Front Desk Supervisor oversees front desk operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient administrative processes.
  • Manage a team of front desk staff, including medical secretaries, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to streamline client experiences and operational workflows.
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the compliance department and leadership team as required.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of front desk transactions and daily activities for reporting purposes.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires, maintaining vendor relationships effectively.
  • Assist in organizing monthly meetings with support departments to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide coverage for front desk and medical secretary roles as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold confidentiality standards.

Front Desk Supervisor Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative support and supervisory experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Electronic Medical Records software is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to implement standard office procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to interact effectively with host-setting staff and agency team members.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and travel to multiple sites as needed.
  • Visual acuity to view documents on a computer screen for extended periods.
