Nurse Manager Overview

Nurse Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee operations and personnel within Patient Care and Intensive Care Units.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations for optimal patient care.

  • Coordinate patient care activities, acting as a liaison between departments.

Nurse Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Unrestricted RN license in Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required; TNCC within two years.
  • Minimum of 5 years RN experience, including 2 years in critical care.
  • Preferred certifications: CEN, CPEN, CCRN, CNML, ENPC, STABLE, FCCS, PFCCS.
  • Experience with EPIC and bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in nursing management roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
