Accounts Receivable Representative Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide high-quality customer service via email and phone, ensuring timely and polite resolution of inquiries.
- Perform lease administration tasks, including processing move-ins, move-outs, and renewals accurately and promptly.
- Execute vacate procedures within regulatory timeframes, applying charges and issuing refunds appropriately.
- Manage security deposit transactions, ensuring reconciliation between banking and operating systems.
- Assist with accounts receivable activities, including verification letters and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Utilize analytical skills to interpret data and solve complex tenant ledger issues.

Accounts Receivable Representative Job Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree required, with a focus on business or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tenant accounts receivable; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with real estate operating systems such as Yardi or MRI is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address tenant ledger adjustments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective resident interaction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
