Talent Development Specialist Overview

  • The Talent Development Specialist will support organizational transformation by managing talent development, associate engagement, and leadership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to execute impactful training programs and organizational development strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops, leadership sessions, and team effectiveness initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Coordinate logistics for leadership development programs, including vendor communication and participant engagement.
  • Administer surveys and collect metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support enterprise engagement initiatives and signature events to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budget tracking, and operational processes to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Utilize advanced tools and frameworks to design and deliver impactful learning experiences.
  • Contribute to internal communications efforts to enhance associate engagement and program visibility.

Talent Development Specialist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan and facilitate leadership development programs, workshops, and team effectiveness sessions in collaboration with HR teams.
  • Coordinate logistics, materials, and communications for training sessions and organizational development initiatives.
  • Monitor program effectiveness through metrics collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support associate engagement initiatives and corporate events to enhance organizational culture.
  • Manage vendor relationships, invoicing, and budget tracking to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Administer learning management systems and employee listening platforms to support talent development efforts.
  • Develop and deliver internal communications content to promote engagement and program awareness.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions using instructional design frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful program delivery and outcomes.

Talent Development Specialist Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in talent development, HR, or organizational effectiveness.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience in corporate training, program management, or internal communications.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in relevant fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools; experience with LMS platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE or SAM.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with assessment tools like DiSC, Predictive Index, or Hogan preferred.
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops and training sessions in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
