Preconstruction Manager Overview

  • The Preconstruction Manager will oversee and manage preconstruction activities for various projects, ensuring efficient planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, budgets, and timelines effectively.
  • Develop and manage project estimates, budgets, and schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure project feasibility and compliance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the preconstruction team to achieve project goals.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks during the preconstruction phase to ensure project success.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices in all preconstruction activities.

Preconstruction Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Proven leadership experience at the Associate Director level or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of project estimation, budgeting, and scheduling processes.
  • Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in construction.
