Receptionist Overview

Receptionist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage and distribute incoming corporate mail accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare and send outgoing shipments, including UPS packages.
  • Monitor voicemail and fax communications and route them appropriately.
  • Assist with conference room scheduling and basic meeting preparation.
  • Coordinate with building management for maintenance and room bookings.
  • Manage employee security badge access, including setup and deactivation.
  • Maintain inventory of office, kitchen, and promotional supplies.
  • Support general administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.

Receptionist Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent educational background required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a reception or administrative role; 2 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Teams.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers and postage machines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
