- The Pricing Manager will lead pricing strategy and development for the client’s operations, ensuring profitability and consistency across deals.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to evaluate new opportunities and optimize contract pricing for maximum financial performance.
- Shape the company’s pricing function, bringing structure and innovation to the process while driving impactful changes.
- Develop and refine pricing models incorporating labor, parts, operating costs, and utilization metrics.
- Analyze customer profitability and identify opportunities for repricing or operational improvements.
- Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support complex customer opportunities and contract escalations.
- Establish governance and standardize pricing methodologies to improve organizational visibility and decision-making.
- Track post-deal performance and use insights to enhance future pricing strategies and assumptions.

Pricing Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead pricing analysis and recommendations for new and existing customer opportunities to ensure profitability and operational alignment.
- Develop, maintain, and improve pricing models, incorporating relevant cost drivers and performing sensitivity analysis.
- Evaluate deal economics, profitability, and financial risks, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Analyze customer contracts and pricing structures, identifying opportunities for repricing and escalation adjustments.
- Partner with Sales and Operations to support customer renewals, price increases, and commercial decisions.
- Standardize pricing assumptions, methodologies, and documentation to enhance governance and decision-making processes.
- Track and analyze post-deal performance, identifying discrepancies and improving future pricing strategies.
- Develop reporting tools to monitor pricing effectiveness and customer profitability across the organization.

Pricing Manager Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
- 7+ years of experience in pricing, FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic finance roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, B2B contract pricing, and customer profitability analysis.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to perform sensitivity and scenario analysis effectively.
- Experience partnering with Sales and Operations teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
- Comfortable working independently and managing projects with limited oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to develop recommendations and challenge assumptions when necessary.
- Experience building or improving pricing models, processes, or procedures is preferred.
- Knowledge of fleet services, transportation, logistics, or contract-based service businesses is a plus.
