Medical Director HIV Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and best practices.

Medical Director HIV Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a valid state-specific Medical Board license in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Disease.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HIV/AIDS patient care, with a preference for 7 years.
- AAHIVM Certification required within 18 months of hire; current CPR/BLS certification mandatory.
- Proficiency in managing outpatient care settings, including seeing 15-18 patients daily.
- Experience in leading and mentoring healthcare teams, including Advanced Practice Providers.
- Comfortable working with diverse patient populations, including the LGBTQ+ community.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities.
