Receptionist Overview

  • Provide administrative support such as printing agendas and managing phone communications.

  • Assist in organizing wellness programs, happy hours, and birthday celebrations.
  • Work on-site during standard business hours, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Receptionist Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Greet guests and employees professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Set up and break down conference rooms, including initiating calls and arranging catering.
  • Manage building security entries for visitors and print meeting materials in advance.
  • Answer and direct calls, providing detailed missed call messages and transferring calls efficiently.
  • Coordinate weekly group orders and lunch arrangements for specific teams.
  • Distribute daily mail and packages, and set up outgoing FedEx shipments.
  • Schedule wellness program visits and shoe shining appointments.
  • Organize and participate in office celebrations, including birthdays and happy hours.

Receptionist Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, with entry-level experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional services, preferably within finance.
  • Proficiency in managing administrative tasks and multitasking effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for phone handling and guest interactions.
  • Ability to work on-site during standard business hours (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM).
