POSITION OVERVIEW

Green Key Resources is looking for an Entry-Level Business Development Trainee to join our dynamic staffing and recruiting division. This hybrid role, based in New York City, Melville, NY, or Northern NJ, offers a unique opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in sales and business development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage in instructor-led training to master sales fundamentals, prospecting, and relationship-building techniques.
• Utilize digital tools and AI to enhance outreach and professional presence in the staffing industry.
• Conduct cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn messaging to identify and engage prospective clients.
• Research industries, companies, hiring trends, and decision-makers to identify business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to support recruiting team success.
• Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure seamless handoff of qualified job orders.
• Participate in professional communication, presentations, and role-play practice to refine skills.
• Implement time management, weekly planning, and productivity strategies to achieve sales goals.
• Leverage technology and AI to amplify performance and drive business development success.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in recruitment, sales, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and connect with people effectively.
• Tech-savvy and curious about leveraging AI and digital tools in professional settings.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and motivated approach to achieving goals.
• Organized, coachable, and eager to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setting with in-office presence for mentorship and training.
