Staffing Coordinator Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Process caregiver applications promptly and efficiently to meet staffing needs.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee files, adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Conduct weekly orientations for newly hired CHHAs and CNAs.
- Support scheduling operations and assist with coverage needs as required.
- Communicate daily with on-call staff and answering services to ensure smooth operations.
- Address caregiver and patient concerns professionally and effectively.
- Report scheduling issues, complaints, or after-hours calls promptly.
- Assist with quality assurance initiatives to maintain service standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Staffing Coordinator Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent educational background.
- Minimum of 1 year recruiting/HR experience in home care or healthcare; 3 years preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage diverse responsibilities.
- Comfortable working with people and solving problems effectively.
- Must pass a criminal background check and possess home care experience.
- Physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs, bend, and stoop as needed.
- Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and travel to designated office locations.
