Chief Financial Officer Overview

• The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee the financial health and operational infrastructure of the client organization.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to shape and execute company strategy and internal functions.
• Lead finance operations, accounting, FP&A, strategic planning, treasury, and tax functions to ensure organizational efficiency.
• Provide executive oversight of HR and procurement functions, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals.
• Drive cost control initiatives and operational improvements without compromising growth or client experience.
• Develop and maintain financial models, scenario planning, and KPI benchmarks to support decision-making processes.
• Champion a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all organizational functions.
• Support M&A evaluation and integration activities to facilitate inorganic growth opportunities.
• Represent the organization in sponsor, lender, and board-level communications on financial and operational performance.

Chief Financial Officer Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Manage corporate finance, accounting, financial planning, treasury, and tax functions to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and profitability analytics to support commercial strategies.
• Lead cost control initiatives, prioritizing margin and productivity improvements across the organization.
• Oversee HR functions, including talent acquisition, retention, and performance management systems.
• Standardize procurement policies and workflows to capture scale efficiencies and manage vendor risks.
• Partner with the CEO and functional leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and manage external audits and tax processes.
• Build and develop high-performing teams, focusing on system modernization and scalability.

Chief Financial Officer Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance leadership, including 5 years in senior finance roles.
• Experience in private equity-backed environments and consulting or technology sectors preferred.
• Proven expertise in FP&A, strategic planning, and cost control initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with modern financial systems and ERP optimization, such as Sage Intacct.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex financial data to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational improvements.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with data-driven decision-making.
