Diagnostic Imaging Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Organize, supervise, and monitor clinical services and procedures within the radiology department.
• Ensure safe patient care and adherence to applicable accreditation guidelines.

• Establish effective relationships with patients, physicians, employees, and vendors.

Diagnostic Imaging Manager Job Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Radiology or equivalent managerial experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advanced leadership capabilities.
• Current A.R.R.T. or A.R.D.M.S certification and Texas State License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory for patient safety.
• Minimum of 5 years of acute imaging leadership experience; 7 years preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong collaboration skills to build stakeholder relationships and drive improvements.
• Visible and hands-on leadership style to support team members effectively.
• Demonstrated expertise in process improvement and operational efficiency.
