Manager of Network Services Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and mentor a team of Network Engineers supporting the global network environment.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of voice, LAN, WAN, and network security services.
• Establish and maintain network policies, procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with change management, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.
• Partner with IT teams to deliver reliable and secure technology services.
• Review and approve network designs and implementation plans for alignment with requirements.
• Manage network hardware lifecycle, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure projects are appropriately planned and delivered.
• Facilitate operational meetings, service reviews, and technical strategy discussions.

Manager of Network Services Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of five years leading network engineering and operations teams.
• Experience supporting a global, 24×7 enterprise environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Experience with SASE technologies, including SD-WAN and secure remote access.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies and cloud networking platforms.
• Familiarity with network automation tools like Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Preferred certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or CISM.
• Experience in professional services or highly regulated environments is advantageous.
