Treasury Analyst Overview
- The Treasury Analyst role focuses on managing daily cash positions, ensuring optimal fund allocation, and maintaining target balance levels.
- Prepare and update rolling 13-week cash flow forecasts using accounts payable, receivable, and operational data inputs.
- Reconcile wire transfers, ACH payments, and intercompany settlements to ensure accurate financial records.
- Monitor compliance with bank covenant requirements and prepare schedules for quarterly covenant testing.
- Support monthly close processes by reconciling treasury transactions, accruing interest, and analyzing bank fees.
- Collaborate with finance teams to optimize cash management strategies and enhance operational efficiency.
- Gain exposure to advanced ERP systems and banking operations in a dynamic environment.
Treasury Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Execute daily cash position management, including monitoring balances and initiating fund transfers.
- Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts incorporating various financial data sources.
- Process and reconcile diverse payment types, including wires, ACH, and checks.
- Ensure compliance with banking covenants and prepare detailed quarterly reports.
- Assist in monthly financial close activities, focusing on treasury transactions and interest accruals.
- Analyze and report on bank fees to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline treasury operations and enhance financial accuracy.
Treasury Analyst Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in treasury or related financial roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and BAI reconciliation processes; Workday experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, including account structures and payment types.
- Experience with credit facilities, borrowing base calculations, and covenant requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
