Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain efficient systems for financial reporting and data analysis.
- Manage forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure accuracy in payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Supervise a team including an Accounting Assistant and part-time accounts payable staff, ensuring professional development and high performance.
- Collaborate with senior management to report financial status and implement financial strategies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
- At least 7 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong proficiency in financial software systems like Deltek Vantagepoint and Paylocity.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
