Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide extensive administrative support to attorneys, ensuring efficient case management and preparation of legal documentation.
- Organize and manage digital and physical case files to maintain accessibility and compliance.
- Coordinate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including clients, court personnel, and others involved in litigation processes.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy in electronic filing (e-filing) and servicing of court documents across multiple jurisdictions including Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
- Manage calendars, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
- Maintain meticulous digital and physical litigation binders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an administrative assistant in a commercial litigation setting.
- Proficient with legal procedures, terminology, and court rules.
- Experienced in e-filing within state and federal courts across MD, DC, and VA.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at client interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and various legal document management software; familiarity with i-Manage is advantageous.
- High organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be prepared to work on-site full-time.
