Job Description
Our firm is working on a Controller role at one of our premiere clients.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Overall Controllership of office(s)
- Manage and lead more junior team members
- Full cycle accounting and finance responsibilities
- Involvement in new acquisition and development projects
- Participate in management meetings and conferences when required
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
- Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action
- Help develop and support short and long-term operational strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
- 10+ years proven accounting experience
- Professional accounting certification, including CMA, CGA, or CA
- Working knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)
- Strong understanding of economic and banking processes
- Exemplary history of financial project management
