Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Hourly Employee Recordkeeping:
    • Manage ADP onboarding, ensuring all necessary employment documents are collected.
    • Address and correct employee information changes.
    • Conduct employee orientation sessions.
    • Oversee employee benefits administration (excluding 401K).
    • Provide responses to basic employee inquiries regarding benefits.
  • Travel Coordination:
    • Under project management direction, arrange airfare, hotel accommodations, and car rentals for out-of-area projects.
    • Maintain records of related expenses and ensure proper project, account, and task allocation.
    • Manage and record credit card charges for meals, material purchases, and vehicle fuel.
  • Support Roles:
    • Assist the Accounts Payable team in securing outstanding credit card receipts.
    • Support the Project Accountant with ADP payroll processing, month-end credit card accruals, and project closure requests.
    • Ensure accuracy in project setups including tasks and account classifications.
    • Assist with journal entries as needed.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of combined experience in accounting and human resources clerical functions.
  • Proficient with beginner-level Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Capable of quickly learning new software applications.
  • High school diploma required.
