Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a project team consisting of a Project Coordinator and Superintendents to ensure all project phases are executed efficiently.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the preconstruction team to define project scopes and timelines.
  • Regularly update project progress, budget statuses, and manage any necessary adjustments.
  • Utilize tools like Sage 300, GC Pay, and Procore for project tracking and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety standards and building codes, maintaining high-quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within commercial construction, particularly in sectors such as retail, self-storage, or entertainment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in construction management software like Procore and Sage 300.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capability to manage and mentor a project team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate and interact effectively with clients and subcontractors.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to implement solutions swiftly.
