Job Description
Title: Compensation Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day compensation operations, including market analysis, salary structures, and internal pay equity reviews.
- Manage and maintain Workday’s compensation module, ensuring accurate system configurations and process automation.
- Lead efforts to collect and analyze benchmarking data, maintaining competitive pay structures and participating in salary surveys.
- Administer quarterly and annual sales incentive programs, supporting leadership in developing effective rewards structures.
- Conduct financial modeling and compensation analytics using Excel to assess pay scales, budgeting, and workforce trends.
- Collaborate with HR and business partners to improve pay practices, job evaluations, and internal compensation guidelines.
- Research and implement best practices in compensation strategy, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Provide subject matter expertise on compliance and regulatory requirements related to compensation policies.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis and administration within a corporate environment.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong expertise in salary benchmarking, market analysis, job architecture, and total rewards programs.
- Advanced Excel proficiency for compensation modeling, data visualization, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Workday compensation module for administration and reporting.
- Experience designing and managing incentive and bonus structures, particularly for sales teams.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, finance, and leadership teams to align compensation with business goals.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP certification is a plus).
