Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead annual business budget planning & forecast update processes, coordinate financial information flow between business function teams and the finance team 
  • Prepare monthly departmental reporting & variance analysis  
  • Conduct weekly and monthly financial results reviews 
  • Prepare & lead ad hoc financial modeling efforts, scenario analysis, and assessing strategic options 
  • Create appropriate metrics to measure growth, improve profitability, control expenses, and enhance productivity 
  • Develop a comprehensive financial tracking & internal auditing model for financial obligations 
  • Facilitate and confirm all receivable payments allocations  
  • Establish and maintain strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationships to ensure compliance, effective administration of accounting verification and funds flow management related to partnerships, and decision support 
  • Review, authenticate and record third-party financial transactions related to Partners 
  • Guiding continuous improvement efforts for IT tools that support finance including tools to improve financial results tracking, financial reporting, and the control environment 
  • Working closely with accounting to ensure Month-end close /financial statements and FP&A reporting is consistent 
  • Support the maintenance of the company’s cash flow forecast 
  • Support preparation of audited annual reports and Federal, State, and Local tax returns for all Business 
  • Support preparation activities related to various financial submission requirements (Board materials, 1099s, etc.) 

 

Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field, CPA preferred 
  • 5-10 years of relevant business experience in either corporate finance, investment banking, or another financial analytics role in a metrics-driven environment 
  • Experience accounting systems 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Macros, advanced formulas) 
  • Excellent communication (written & oral) and presentation (PowerPoint) skills 
  • SQL, Power BI/Tableau skills a plus 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in an energetic, fast-paced environment 
  • Demonstrated experience with management of sensitive and confidential information 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop productive, trust-based relationships across a wide variety of individuals (internally & externally) and with groups of diverse backgrounds and experience levels
