Job Description
Title: Scheduling Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls professionally and respond to inquiries appropriately.
- Transfer and relay messages to the appropriate staff members.
- Address scheduling changes and communicate adjustments to caregivers, clients, and families.
- Staff new client cases, ensuring all shifts are covered.
- Document client schedules and changes using Generations software.
- Maintain accurate records in SharePoint and Microsoft Office programs.
- Monitor schedules and ensure timely communication of any changes.
- Assist with staff recruitment as needed.
- Provide call center support and help other departments during high-volume periods.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an office setting (staffing, healthcare, or home care experience a plus).
- Experience with home care or healthcare scheduling is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with recruiting techniques and caregiver placement is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Experience with cloud-based scheduling platforms and data entry.
- Knowledge of Generations software is preferred.
