Project Administrator

Job Description
Title: Project Administrator
Key Responsibilities
- Process trade/craft payroll, ensuring accurate timecard collection, coding, and coordination with the Payroll Team for adjustments, pay increases, and terminations.
- Manage new hire processing, including union dispatch, paperwork, drug testing, and safety training.
- Oversee Certified Payroll compliance, tracking submissions from subcontractors and resolving delinquent items.
- Certify and submit Atkinson Certified Payroll to the Owner and DIR.
- Handle purchase orders and invoice processing, ensuring timely payments within 30 days and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assist with monthly pay applications, owner invoicing, subcontractor payments, and lien waiver collection.
- Create, update, and maintain financial reports and tracking spreadsheets.
- Organize document control, including scanning, uploading, and maintaining financial and administrative records.
- Compile billing packages with backup documentation for change orders.
- Track insurance certificates, small business participation, and project compliance requirements.
- Maintain job site office operations, including ordering supplies and overseeing equipment/inventory control.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, fostering strong working relationships.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in administration, finance, or accounting.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects or a similar role is a plus.
- Background in billing, document control, purchasing, and payroll processing.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Experience with Textura, SAP, LCP Tracker, or Coupa is a plus.
