Job Description

The Healthcare Compliance Specialist will be responsible for administering compliance program initiatives to assure client operations remain in compliance with applicable regulations and laws maintaining a constant state of audit readiness.

  • Serve as the compliance resource for commercial Speaker Programs and Co-Marketing Programs.
  • Work with Director, Compliance to review and approve the annual business needs for commercial Speaker Programs and Co-Marketing Programs.
  • Under the guidance of the Director, Compliance, reviews requests for commercial Speaker Programs and Co-Marketing Programs for completeness and alignment with business needs.
  • Work with Director, Compliance to review and analyze the requests to ensure that the request is properly categorized and in compliance client policies.
  • Stay abreast of all pertinent company policies, procedures and government regulations that relate to Company-Speaker Programs and thereby actively contribute to client’s continued compliance with same.
  • May deliver training to stakeholders as required, partnering with Director, Compliance and business leads to ensure the training meets commercial and compliance requirements.
  • Audit transactions for potential policy violations as necessary.
  • Prepare required reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Serve as the compliance resource for Healthcare Professional Contracting requests
  • Work with Director, Compliance to review and approve the annual business needs for Healthcare Professional consulting engagements.
  • Under the guidance of the Director, Compliance, reviews Healthcare Professional Consulting requests for completeness and alignment with business needs. Issues template contracts through DocuSign.
  • Work with Director, Compliance to review and analyze the requests to ensure that the request is properly categorized, meets fair market value standards, and is in compliance client policies.
  • Deliver training to stakeholders as required.
  • Audit transactions for potential policy violations as necessary.
  • Prepare required reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Serve as the compliance resource for commercial sponsorship and exhibits.
  • Work with Director, Compliance to review and approve the annual business needs for commercial sponsorships and exhibits.
  • Under the guidance the Director, Compliance, reviews requests for commercial sponsorship and exhibit forms for completeness and alignment with business needs.
  • Work with Director, Compliance to review and analyze the requests to ensure that the request is properly categorized, meets fair market value standards for tangible benefits received in relation to the financial sponsorship level and in compliance with all laws, codes, regulations and client policies.
  • Stay abreast of all pertinent company policies, procedures and government regulations that relate to Company-sponsored events and thereby actively contribute to clients’ continued compliance with same.
  • Researches and documents entities tax status and HCP ownership.
  • Deliver training to stakeholders as required.
  • Audit transactions for potential policy violations as necessary.
  • Prepare required reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Serve as the compliance resource for Transparency, Company Licensing, Sales Representative Licensing
  • Design Concur configuration and reports to identify high-risk areas for monitoring and auditing.
  • Under the guidance of the Director, Compliance, work with functional stakeholders and vendors to identify, structure and embed compliance controls Concur and Oracle systems, for global transparency reporting.
  • Maintains device and pharmaceutical manufacturer licensing and all highly confidential information associated with procuring the licenses.
  • Serves as the compliance resource for Sales Representatives in impacted jurisdictions requiring licensing and reporting.
  • Deliver templates and training to Sales Representatives in impacted jurisdictions as required.
  • Audit transactions for potential policy violations as necessary.
  • Identify potential compliance violations with spending related to Healthcare Professionals.
  • Prepare required reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare/pharma/device/compliance, auditing, monitoring, investigations and training.
  • Demonstrated project management, judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP Concur, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Alteryx and Tableau strongly preferred.
  • Proficient data analytic development skills across multiple data sources.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, law, or a similar discipline.
  • CFE or CPA preferred Healthcare compliance certification preferred.
