Located in Hauppauge – fully in-office
M-F 10-6 or 8-4 with overtime during tax season.
Full-time role with comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
Prior experience working in a CPA firm is a must.
Salary $70-75K
Responsibilities:
- Keep track of client deadlines and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Draft, maintain, and organize engagement letters and other documentation.
- Act as a client liaison, delivering professional and prompt communication.
- Handle office tasks, including scheduling, filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Manage workflows, task follow-ups, and office organization to support professional staff.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of administrative experience, ideally in an accounting firm.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
