As we continue to expand across the region, we’re looking for a driven Assistant Superintendent to support our growing field operations team.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Superintendent will support the Superintendent in coordinating and supervising all construction activities on-site. This role is critical to ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily on-site operations including scheduling subcontractors, monitoring progress, and maintaining safety compliance.
- Support the enforcement of project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Help manage quality control and perform routine inspections to ensure workmanship meets plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and execution of work.
- Maintain and update daily logs, field reports, and site documentation.
- Assist in managing punch lists, closeout procedures, and project turnover.
- Promote and maintain a safe job site in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
- Serve as a point of contact for field-level issues and coordinate resolutions with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of construction experience, preferably in multifamily or commercial residential projects.
- Familiarity with wood frame and/or podium-style construction is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, schedules, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Proficient with construction technology and software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
