Job Description

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

  • Review and perform quality assurance of systems usage and data collection, system usage, and storage processes/procedures, including reviews of data security/privacy. 
  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities for data collection improvements. 
  • Assist in developing and delivering training and support to staff on data collection responsibilities and processes. Manage technical training resources and aides in the development of new materials as needed. 
  • Write and update standard data management and systems manuals to ensure processes and procedures are followed and aligned with strategic goals and objectives 
  • Independently develop and implement quality assurance processes to identify and resolve recurring data quality and data integrity issues, while documenting data quality standards and quality assurance processes 
  • Support content management and distribution of appropriate information/reports to internal user groups, including ensuring that dashboards are operational and accurate with timely information updates 
  • Prepare reports and datasets both as needed and on routine schedules 
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of surveying and assessments 
  • Helps respond to other data requests as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and certifications 
  • Prior experience in database administration, data system management, database architecture, data collection, data analysis, and data reporting 
  • Expertise in Microsoft office suite. Including advanced Microsoft Excel skills include the ability to utilize pivot tables and create macros 
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research including conducting interviews, and collecting, cleaning, coding, and analyzing data sets is desirable 
  • Familiarity with creating Data Visualizations or Interactive Dashboards with tools like Tableau or PowerBI is desirable 
  • Detailed-oriented and work well within a team environment 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills (particularly around technical topics) 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be self-directed, independently prioritize workloads, manage multiple deadlines, and take initiative
