Job Description

Title: Legal Recruiting Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate candidate interview scheduling and manage logistics, including greeting visitors, preparing materials, and confirming attorney participation
  • Maintain accurate records and track candidate data using internal systems
  • Support full-cycle recruiting processes for associate and staff roles, including lateral hiring and the summer associate program
  • Help plan and execute law school events, summer program activities, and in-office functions—attending local events weekly as needed
  • Collaborate with the NY legal recruiting team on firmwide initiatives and weekly check-ins
  • Prepare materials for recruiting presentations and marketing, including event invitations, promotional content, and social media support
  • Monitor recruiting inboxes and handle candidate and attorney communications
  • Assist with reporting and external submissions (e.g., survey data, online law firm profiles)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in legal recruiting or professional services talent acquisition
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines
  • Effective communicator who is adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable supporting high-volume scheduling and providing on-the-ground event coordination
  • Experience with recruiting systems like viRecruit and Chrome River preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
