- Collaborate with staff to manage a high-acuity GI-focused patient population, including liver disease, bowel disorders, and GI bleeds.
- Monitor quality performance metrics and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements.
- Support preparation for future transitions, including electronic health record (EHR) migrations and system-wide initiatives.
- Report to senior nursing leadership and play an active role in long-term strategic planning within the hospital and system.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or eligibility for compact state licensure.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ nursing leadership experience, preferably in a Med/Surg or GI-focused inpatient setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, with a resilient and solution-oriented leadership style.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change while promoting a supportive work environment.
