Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of commercial construction projects ranging from $5M to $100M. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing all phases of construction, from preconstruction through closeout, while delivering quality work safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and project closeout.
- Collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor job costs, prepare monthly project forecasts, and report on financial performance.
- Lead project meetings and provide consistent communication with all stakeholders.
- Oversee contract administration, change orders, RFIs, and submittals using project management software.
- Champion safety, quality control, and compliance with project specifications.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative project team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of managing complex construction projects in sectors such as healthcare, education, industrial, or office buildings.
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, documents, and processes.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
