We’re partnering with a respected community-focused healthcare facility seeking an experienced nurse leader to oversee the clinical operations of their 120-bed Continuing Care Center. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned nurse manager or director who is passionate about long-term care and eager to lead in a unique high-desert setting with stunning mountain views and a tight-knit community.

If you’ve led teams in skilled nursing, subacute care, or long-term care—and you’re ready for a high-impact position with autonomy, growth, and purpose—this could be your next step.

🏥 Why This Role Matters

As Director of Nursing, you’ll provide strategic and operational oversight across subacute, skilled nursing, and long-term care services. You’ll guide interdisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive clinical excellence for vulnerable populations in need of compassionate, high-quality care.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

Lead a diverse and mission-driven clinical team across multiple levels of care, including one of Southern California’s few ventilator-capable subacute units.

Collaborate with leadership to shape clinical standards, performance goals, and staffing models aligned with Tenet Healthcare’s excellence benchmarks.

Cultivate a supportive, resident-centered environment grounded in safety, accountability, and dignity.

Participate in strategic planning and budgeting while driving operational success through evidence-based leadership.

✅ What They’re Looking For

Active RN license in California (or ability to obtain)

Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred

Minimum of 5 years of RN experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or acute care environment

At least 3 years of leadership experience in a managerial or director-level role

Knowledge of CMS regulations, quality indicators, and long-term care best practices

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams

🌵 Why This Region?

Set in Southern California’s high desert, this area offers breathtaking landscapes, a warm community vibe, and easy access to outdoor adventures. It provides a lower cost of living than nearby cities while still offering proximity to urban amenities and world-renowned natural parks.

💥 Your Impact Starts Here

This is more than a job—it’s a mission-driven leadership opportunity where your voice, experience, and compassion will directly shape the future of long-term care in a vibrant community. With a generous salary range of $136,000–$195,520, plus a $25,000 sign-on bonus, you’ll be positioned to lead boldly while making a difference every day.

If you’re ready to elevate your nursing leadership career in a setting that values both innovation and heart, we’d love to connect.
