Job Description

Job Title: CT X-Ray Technologist

Locations: Metro Denver, Southern Colorado, Northern Colorado

Job Type: Full-time and Part-time roles are available

Shifts: Multiple shifts available, including Days, Weekends, Rotating, Nights, and Flex (Part-time)

CT X-Ray Technologist – Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) and general radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity by providing clear communication and compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
  • Accurately position patients and operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Review patient history and verify identification to ensure appropriate imaging and to identify any contraindications.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system, including imaging records and procedural notes.
  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Comply with all applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements, including those set by ARRT, ACR, HIPAA, and state licensing bodies.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to support accreditation and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stay current with continuing education and advancements in CT and radiologic technology to maintain certification and enhance clinical practice.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist (RT).
  • Certified or registry-eligible in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT, with completion of certification required within 12 months of hire.
  • State licensure as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid for at least 60 days beyond the hire date.
