Job Description

Our client is seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead and scale the company’s revenue-generating efforts. The VP of Sales will oversee all aspects of sales strategy, operations, and team leadership, with a mandate to drive sustainable growth and expand market share. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring deep expertise in SaaS or PropTech sales, team-building, and performance-driven leadership. The ideal candidate will be based in Los Angeles. Experience managing a team that has or having personal experience of building out a partnership referral based program is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales organization, including inside sales, field sales, and sales enablement teams
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting using tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to align go-to-market efforts
  • Identify new verticals, segments, and partnership opportunities within the real estate ecosystem
  • Implement scalable processes and systems to support a growing team and customer base
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level client meetings
  • Report directly to the CEO and collaborate on company-wide growth strategy

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally in PropTech, SaaS, or Real Estate
  • Proven track record of scaling sales organizations from startup through high-growth phases
  • Deep understanding of real estate workflows, decision-makers, and sales cycles
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent
  • Expertise in CRM systems, data-driven sales management, and performance analytics
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling into brokerages, property management firms, real estate investment companies, or MLSs
  • Familiarity with funding-stage dynamics and working closely with executive and investor teams
