Job Description
Duties:
- Develop effective HR strategies, practices, and policies
- Work closely with executive leadership to determine the needs of the company
- Coach, lead, and mentor team members to meet objectives
- Improve and monitor employee productivity
- Structure compensation and benefit packages
- Evaluate staffing needs and assist in the recruitment process, including writing job descriptions and interviews
- Oversee the performance management system, including designing and implementing performance review standards for staff
- Monitor the HR budget and advocate for redistribution of funds
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Minimum five years of HR generalist experience with specific experience in training and employee relations
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, as well as Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
