Biotech in stealth mode is looking to hire a contract Clinical Data Scientist (Sr. Manager/Associate Director level).

Position can be remote

Temp-to-perm opportunity — candidate must be willing to live in or relocate to Princeton, NJ if converted to a permanent role

We’re on the hunt for a Clinical Data Scientist who doesn’t just crunch numbers—they tell stories with data, forecast what’s coming, and build tools that make clinical trials smarter and faster. You’ll sit at the intersection of science and innovation, helping to shape trial strategy through AI-driven insights, predictive analytics, and visualizations that actually make sense.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creating crystal-clear data visualizations to surface trends, spot risks, and keep trials on track
  • Running trial simulations that help teams plan smarter and move quicker
  • Using your statistical chops to support publications, investor decks, and study designs
  • Playing with machine learning and real-world data like it’s your sandbox
  • Writing SAPs and steering internal and external programming teams to the finish line
  • Staying ahead of the curve on innovative trial designs and AI tools
  • Partnering across clinical, medical, data, and ops teams to turn complex data into confident decisions

What You Bring:

  • PhD (ideal) or Master’s in Biostats, Data Science, CS, or something equally brainy
  • 4+ years in the clinical data world (biotech/pharma preferred)
  • Fluency in Python, R, or SAS—and you know when to use which
  • Deep understanding of trial design and analytics, plus a knack for simplifying the complex
  • A collaborative mindset, startup energy, and the ability to juggle priorities without dropping the ball
  • Bonus points for vendor wrangling experience
