Job Description

Position Overview

Supports the Marketing & Communications Manager and broader Marketing Department in executing marketing strategies and campaigns that align with the organization’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the planning, execution, and performance tracking of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, print, and events.
  2. Manage day-to-day operations of social media platforms—schedule content, monitor engagement, and compile performance reports.
  3. Support the coordination and execution of events such as webinars, internal town halls, and other engagements.
  4. Provide administrative and project management support by handling internal and external communications and requests.
  5. Maintain organized records of advertising materials, marketing collateral, and brand assets across all media platforms.
  6. Contribute to content creation and editing for traditional and digital platforms, including brochures, flyers, social media, website, in-branch monitors, and Ponce Radio.
  7. Assist in programming and scheduling statement inserts and customer notifications through the Statement Advantage system.
  8. Monitor and manage access to customer survey tools and systems.
  9. Collaborate in the creation and refinement of marketing materials for various formats and platforms.
  10. Conduct market and competitive research to support product and campaign development; assist with vendor coordination and accounts payable tasks.
  11. Manage promotional and marketing inventory, including distribution logistics.
  12. Liaise with external vendors such as printers, media agencies, and freelance professionals to ensure project success.
  13. Keep staff updated on marketing policies, procedures, and departmental developments.
  14. Represent the brand at marketing and community engagement events.

Training & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide cross-functional support across departments as needed.
  • Participate in mandatory training, including job-specific and compliance-based courses. Additional career development opportunities are available.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe and Canva.
  • Basic understanding of banking products, services, and marketing practices.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategy and project management principles.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily a sedentary office role with occasional lifting of items up to 20 lbs.
  • Regular interaction with internal staff and the public; professionalism and positive communication are essential.
