As the Med Surg Director, you’ll play a central role in shaping the future of inpatient care by leading a large, multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced acute care setting. Your leadership will directly influence patient outcomes, nursing engagement, and hospital performance.

You’ll be responsible for:

Overseeing day-to-day operations, staff development, and departmental performance

Partnering with physicians and interdisciplinary leaders to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care

Leading process improvements, care coordination, and innovation across the Med Surg service line

Supporting strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management aligned with facility goals

Driving a culture of accountability, compassion, and clinical excellence

✅ What You Bring to the Table

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN required)

📋 Active RN license in Florida or compact eligible

❤️ BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

💼 Strong background in clinical leadership, ideally in a Med Surg setting

🤝 Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire diverse teams
