An established, solvent multi-hospital system in Southwest Virginia is seeking an experienced Director of Facilities Management to lead critical infrastructure, compliance, and operational strategy at its flagship acute care hospital. Located in the scenic and fast-growing Roanoke Valley, this organization has provided trusted care to the region for over a century—and continues to expand its reach and services.

This full-service medical center supports over 500 inpatient beds, advanced surgical and specialty programs, and a growing outpatient network. You’ll be part of a stable, mission-driven system known for excellence in heart and vascular care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, and behavioral health.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and NFPA standards
  • Serve as Safety Officer, ensuring a safe, efficient care environment
  • Manage major capital projects, construction, and facility planning
  • Oversee infrastructure for hospital and outpatient sites
  • Supervise technical and administrative staff across key support departments

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities-related field required 🎓
  • 5+ years of healthcare engineering or plant operations experience
  • 3+ years in hospital facilities leadership preferred
  • Proven track record with Joint Commission readiness
