Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Acute Care, the Nurse RN Manager of Inpatient Services will be the primary Unit Leader for this active 25-bed unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily operations of high-acuity unit serving patients with Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Step-Down medical needs
- Manage, schedule, and support a team of Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, LPNs and Patient Care Technicians
- Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Monitor and maintain inventory within departmental budget guidelines
- Be an influential change agent implementing evidence-based process improvement and workflow initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital departments to support patient care
- Mentor and train staff
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal Nurse RN Manager of Inpatient Services will possess:
- Registered Nurse license
- At least 1 year of acute care leadership experience
