A thriving hospital dynamic Kansas is actively looking for a Nurse RN Manager of Inpatient Services to join their leadership team. If you are an experienced Inpatient Nursing Leader looking to join a stellar health system in a popular area, then this is the ideal opportunity for you.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Reporting to the Director of Acute Care, the Nurse RN Manager of Inpatient Services will be the primary Unit Leader for this active 25-bed unit. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Oversee daily operations of high-acuity unit serving patients with Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Step-Down medical needs
  • Manage, schedule, and support a team of Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, LPNs and Patient Care Technicians
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness
  • Monitor and maintain inventory within departmental budget guidelines
  • Be an influential change agent implementing evidence-based process improvement and workflow initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital departments to support patient care
  • Mentor and train staff

 

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal Nurse RN Manager of Inpatient Services will possess:

  • Registered Nurse license
  • At least 1 year of acute care leadership experience
