ER Coordinator

Are you an experienced emergency room nurse ready to take the next step in your career? A leading medical center in Tennessee is seeking an ER Coordinator to support daily operations in a busy, high-acuity emergency department. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who is passionate about leadership, team support, and patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in managing daily flow and clinical operations within the ER
• Provide on-the-floor leadership and support for clinical staff during shifts
• Act as a resource for clinical decision-making and ensure adherence to evidence-based practices
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary departments to optimize patient care and throughput
• Participate in staff development, training, and performance feedback
• Help maintain a safe and efficient work environment while ensuring high standards of care

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• BLS required (ACLS and PALS preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
• Previous charge nurse or team lead experience preferred
