🩺 What You’ll Do
Lead strategic and operational direction of the Emergency Department
Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering staff engagement
Ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety, and quality outcomes
Implement process improvements to optimize throughput and care delivery
Drive department-wide initiatives that align with hospital and enterprise goals
Represent the ED across service line committees and collaborative forums
Recruit top clinical talent and cultivate future leaders
Champion a culture of excellence and accountability
📚 What You Bring
RN License in Texas (or compact eligible)
Bachelor’s in Nursing required; Master’s in Nursing, Business Admin, or Healthcare Admin preferred
Minimum 2+ years of recent Director-level ED leadership (strong ED Managers with 3–5 years of experience will be considered)
BLS, ACLS, and either PALS or ENPC required
Proven ability to lead large teams and drive measurable improvement in patient care delivery
