Job Responsibilities
The Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health is responsible for leading patient care, staff engagement, and clinical outcomes. This active service line features 4 Labor and Delivery suites, 14 Postpartum beds, and a 4-bed Pediatric Unit. Key responsibilities include:
· Provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire service line
· Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices
· Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
· Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality of care, and patient satisfaction
· Oversee staffing, budgeting, and performance management
· Mentor and develop nursing leaders and frontline staff
Candidate Qualifications
The ideal Nurse Director of Maternal Child Health has:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
· At least 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
· Demonstrated expertise in leading evidence-based practices and process improvement initiatives
