A respected and growing construction firm in the Greater Indianapolis area is seeking a Project Executive to lead major projects across a variety of sectors. This is a strategic leadership role designed for someone who thrives on taking full ownership of complex construction efforts (from project planning through closeout) while building lasting relationships with both clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
As Project Executive, you'll be the senior leader responsible for driving project success from preconstruction through final delivery. Duties include:
- Leading all contract, schedule, cost, and risk management efforts
- Building and managing relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners
- Supporting buyout, change orders, and procurement strategies
- Providing mentorship and direction to Senior PMs, PMs, and Engineers
- Ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and performance goals
- Collaborating with leadership on business development efforts and client presentations
- Overseeing project financial reporting and forecasting
- Driving successful project closeout and turnover
Ideal Background
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field — or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including 6+ years in a leadership role managing large-scale projects
- Proven success delivering projects from ground-up through completion
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to manage high-level stakeholder communication
- Expertise in contracts, financial reporting, scheduling, and risk mitigation
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills
Preferred:
- Familiarity with tools like Primavera P6, Procore, SAP or equivalent project/financial systems
- LEED or DBIA Accreditation
- Experience working on high-profile or technically complex builds
