Responsibilities:

• Lead a fast-paced, 14-suite Main OR with complex cases spanning General Surgery, Cardiovascular, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, Urology, and more for both adult and pediatric patients.
• Oversee OR operations 24/7, managing staffing, scheduling, and optimizing workflows to ensure exceptional patient care and surgeon satisfaction.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop department strategy, staffing models, and performance goals.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing surgical nursing team, supporting ongoing clinical education and growth.
• Serve as a key resource and advocate for nursing staff while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Drive initiatives that enhance safety, patient satisfaction, and efficiency in the perioperative environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in OR leadership in a high-volume, acute care setting.
• Strong background managing diverse surgical services in large hospital environments.
• RN license eligible in the state of Arizona.
• BLS certification required; additional perioperative certifications preferred.
