Love the idea of helping people heal in the place they feel safest: home? We’re looking for a passionate, creative, and patient-centered Occupational Therapist to join a thriving home health team in a coastal Virginia community known for its history, charm, and natural beauty.
Whether you're a new grad eager to launch your career with strong mentorship or a seasoned OT seeking a change of pace and more meaningful one-on-one time with patients, this role offers the perfect blend of flexibility, support, and real impact. You'll also enjoy great perks and a welcoming team that truly values what you bring to the table.
💫 Why You’ll Love This Role:

- You’ll treat patients where they’re most comfortable: at home. Real relationships, real outcomes.
- It’s Rewarding
- A $10,000 sign-on bonus plus up to $20,000 in student loan paydown means you're appreciated from the start.
- It’s Flexible
- Enjoy a manageable schedule, a supportive team, and time to actually focus on your patients.
- It’s Growth-Oriented
- CEU support, specialty certification recognition, and mentorship help you keep advancing.
🚗 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Designing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Helping patients build independence and confidence in the comfort of their homes
- Collaborating with PTs, SLPs, nurses, and home health aides
- Supervising COTAs and providing mentorship when needed
🌿 Where You’ll Work:
This position is based in a vibrant community along the tidal rivers and woodlands of
coastal Virginia. Known for its blend of peaceful natural spaces, rich history, and a friendly, down-to-earth vibe, the area offers a lifestyle that’s both relaxed and engaging. Think tree-lined streets, easy access to the water, a lively arts scene, and neighborhoods where people still wave hello.
Here, you can enjoy a morning nature walk, a lunchtime coffee at a local café, and an evening concert at a historic venue, all without fighting traffic or losing hours of your day. It’s a place where you can truly settle in and grow.
What You’ll Need:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate)
- A valid OT license in the state of Virginia
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Benefits and Perks:
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $20,000 in student loan repayment
- Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement
- Paid time off
- Mileage reimbursement
- CEU access via MedBridge and annual education assistance
- A team culture that supports you clinically and personally
