Job Description
One of our clients, a rapidly growing player in the senior care and healthcare services space, is looking to bring on a Regional Sales Director to lead and develop a high-performing remote sales team across a multi-state territory. This team is focused on driving referral partnerships with hospitals, rehab centers, and other healthcare facilities to support families during critical care transitions—whether that’s into home care or assisted living communities.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment and has a strong background in sales leadership, healthcare partnerships, and team development. You’ll be tasked with refining go-to-market strategies, optimizing account performance, and mentoring field reps who work hand-in-hand with care advisors to guide families toward the right care solutions. The position is remote but involves significant regional travel (~75%) to meet with your team and build relationships on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and scale a field-based sales team focused on healthcare referral partnerships
- Drive individual and team performance through coaching, hands-on development, and accountability frameworks
- Support team members in building deep, consultative relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, and skilled nursing facilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally on new initiatives, pilot programs, and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and referral volume
- Monitor and report on key sales and market metrics, using data to identify opportunities and remove barriers
- Deliver on monthly and quarterly growth targets while maintaining a strong customer and patient-centric approach
- Conduct regular in-field ride-alongs, customer experience reviews, and performance check-ins
Ideal Background:
- 3+ years of proven success in a sales leadership role, preferably in healthcare, senior services, or another consultative field
- Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and manage a high-achieving sales team
- Track record of exceeding revenue or referral goals in a multi-territory environment
- Experience navigating and influencing healthcare ecosystems (e.g., hospital systems, care networks)
- Comfortable with regional travel and working non-standard hours when needed to support the team and partners
- Strong communicator, collaborator, and change agent who can manage through complexity and constant evolution
- Technologically proficient (CRM, Microsoft Office Suite) with a professional home office setup and reliable internet access
