Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and process complex client invoices adhering to firm and client guidelines.
  • Utilize Elite 3E billing software for updates, implementations, and data management.
  • Communicate with attorneys and assistants to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Manage electronic billing through client portals and ensure compliance.
  • Generate and analyze billing reports, including aging and revenue summaries.
  • Apply knowledge of various billing arrangements, such as hourly and flat fees.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and special projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and firm information at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Two to five years of experience in legal billing, ideally in a large law firm.
  • Proficiency in Elite 3E billing software and electronic invoicing systems.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to streamline billing processes and manage unbilled accounts effectively.
  • Knowledge of various billing arrangements, including contingency and flat fees.
